Former Minister of Youths and sports development Mr. Damishi Sango has emerged the chairman of the people's Democratic Party, PDP in Plateau State.
At a state congress of the party held in Jos, Mr. Sango pooled 758 votes to defeat a former of the House of Representatives. Mr. Biturs kaze who got 222 votes. Meanwhile the Senator Representing Plateau North and former Governor of the state Jonah Jangs said the election had signalled a new dawn for the party in the state. Jang who was represented by his Media Assistant, Mr. Clinton Garba, called on the new leadership to reunite all aggrieved members of the party towards regaining power in 2019.
