‘Donald Trump Is Colour Blind And Gender Neutral’ – Ivanka Trump

The presidential candidate’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump took the podium to give a speech, just before her dad did, that touched on racism, gender equality, and topics closest to her heart like the possibilities for working mothers and the wage gap
. Ivanka Trump EShe pointed our that her father has always employed men of varying ethnicities and background long before it became a thing, including women. She said her father is all about spotting the essence of a man and that, “He is color blind and gender neutral. He hires the best person for the job, period.” She later continued, “When Donald Trump is in charge, all that counts is ability, effort and excellence. This has long been the philosophy at the trump organization. At my father’s company, there are more female than male executives. Women are paid equally for the work that we do and when a woman becomes a mother, she is supported, not shut out.” She said her father has made wage equality a practice in his company unlike politicians who just talk about it, but don’t do it and she said this is a cause she and her father will fight for. Earlier in her speech, Ivanka talked about her childhood, and the memories she remembers of her father.
