NAF parades two recruitment fraudsters

As unemployment bites harder, two undergraduates of the Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma were paraded by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians on a facebook page they hosted.
Parading the suspects yesterday in Abuja, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information (DoPRI), Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa said the fraudsters were trailed after one Bridget Echichoya posted a message on a facebook with the picture of the NAF Secretary, attached with a GSM number urging applicants to seek assistance to secure enlistment into the Air Force.

The two suspects, Endurance Ehichoya and David Answer Eghosa, both 21 years old, gave their account numbers, one with Fidelity Bank and the other with Zenith Bank, when they were called by a Naval detective, Detailed to do so. They were investigated by the Naval Police so as to identify the members of the syndicate and their modus operandi. Although both second-year students of Building at the University, indigenous of Edo State, Ehichoya said his accomplice was not in the true picture of the scam. While Ehichoya agreed that he has been defrauding people online for years, he said he was trying the online recruitment for the first time.
