NYSC Introduces Biometric Clearance to Check Fraud
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has introduced Biometric Clearance System for corps members in all local government areas of Nigeria to check impersonation and other forms of fraud in the scheme.The Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Sule Kazaure, said this on Tuesday in Katsina at the opening of a workshop on Biometric Clearance for corps members serving in the North-West zone, using ICT. The Federal Government has approved the establishment of a presidential enabling business council in Nigeria. The Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Hajia Aisha Abubakar made this known in Abuja at the opening of the Abuja international Trade fair. Kwara Govt. Launches scheme to aid infrastructural development

Workers observe two-days public holidays
Public offices in Edo were shut on Tuesday as workers observed the two-day public holiday declared by the state government ahead of Wednesday’s governorship election in the state.
The government on Saturday declared Tuesday and Wednesday as holidays to enable workers in the state to travel to areas where they registered as voters during election.
