Uphold tenets of Islam, Rep member urges Muslims

As muslims across the globe celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon Tajudeen Obasa has urged muslims to remain peaceful, law abiding and uphold the tenets of Islam. In a statement released on wednesday by his media organization, the lawmaker admonished muslims to be guided by the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) “Islam is a religion of peace; development would be attracted to peaceful environment .Any organization fighting the course of Islam by shedding of blood is satanic and doesn’t reflect the message of the Holy Quran” He said Obasa thanked clerics for their patriotism, courage and commitment in urging muslims to remain veracious by their peaceful message during sermons.
