President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. Idris Ibrahim as Acting Inspector General of Police.
Idris, who hails from Niger State, was formerly Assistant Inspector General, Federal Operations, Force Headquarters and also former Kano State Police Commissioner He takes over from Mr. Solomon Arase who retires as the IGP today.
