FG to ensure implementation of Child Right Act - PN Guest

Guest on Politics Nationwide a Radio Nigeria Network Programme wants the Federal Government to put necessary structures in place to ensure the implementation of the Child right Act. Speaking on the topic, "The Place of the African Child in Nigeria Democracy", one of the guests and Adviser African Women Lawyers Association of Nigeria Mrs Ifeoma Wogu explained that lack of enforcement of the rights of children was responsible for the increase in cases of violence against children across the country.


 The FCT Coordinator of the Association, Mrs Faozat Barin stressed the need for the domestication of the child right act in all the states of the country. A caller from Benue State, Mr. Achimi Godwin urged the Non-Governmental Organisations across the country to step up campaign for the protection of the rights of children. Contributing through the Social Media, Mr. Chukwudi Eziagu emphasized the need for government to enact a law to protect children from any form of abuse.
