State Governments have been urged to adopt the Treasury Single Account, TSA, Policy operated by the Federal Government for effective resource management.
Speaking with Radio Nigeria in Abuja, the Senator, Representing Adamawa South, Ahmed Abubakar, said the policy, which has improved the Nations revenue and brought accountability in Governance, would help states out of their financial difficulties.
Senator Abubakar explained that the TSA would also help check corruption in official quarters. On the high rate of inflation, the legislator explained that it was due to over dependence on importation of consumable over a long period of time. Senator Abubakar said the APC led administration would fulfil its promise of diversifying the economy through a holistic agricultural policy.
