FRSC AMBER MONTH CAMPAIGN IN ABUJA

During the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) amber-month campaign flag-off in Abuja this weekend, FRSC has advised the managers of motor parks in FCT to get rid of risky vehicles on the road, FRSC unit commander Lokogoma command Mr. Lawrence Okoye gave the advice in Abuja during a visit to the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW )executives Garki branch, Mr. Lawrence Okoye who attributed the cause of road accidents and blockage, to the unnecessary use of risky vehicles along the road, he call on motorist to make sure their vehicles are road worthy always before embarking on any journey within or outside the city. Responding to the visit, the NURTW executive vice secretary Garki branch Mr. Benjamin, has promised that the union will not relent in complementing the FRSC’s effort to maintain an accident free road during and after this amber-month season, Mr. Benjamin also advised the motorist to abide by the traffic rules when using the high-ways.
